HTPG Launches New Packaged Refrigeration Unit

Heat Transfer Products Group (HTPG), a leading manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment
sold under the brands of Russell, Witt, ColdZone, and Kramer, announces the release of its new EcoNetenabled
Packaged Refrigeration System. Building a complete catalog of innovative, efficient, and
sustainable products HTPG has engineered a system that integrates the Evaporator Coil and Condensing
Unit, creating a Compression Cycle Package Unit to maximize time & efficiency.
The packaged Refrigeration System offered has 2 available cabinet sizes at 32” and 36”. It comes
complete with a DOE AWEF Rated self-contained system. It offers 8 Scroll Compressors Models and 1
Hermetic Compressor Model, including Medium (4,800 to 12,000 BTUH) & Low Temperature (4,200 to
9,700 BTUH) options.

The industry-exclusive EcoNet feature improves product quality by reducing temperature fluctuation,
optimizes defrost with adaptivity, and maximizes energy efficiency by less compressor runtime. The
EcoNet technology saves energy in refrigeration systems through precise superheat and space
temperature control, fan cycling, and controlling how often the system goes into defrost based on
compressor runtime. It reduces liability by eliminating icing issues, reduces fan speed to 50% during off
cycle to save energy and reduces temperature fluctuations by regulating defrosts for improved product
quality.

For easy accessibility, the Packaged Refrigeration Unit was built with lift-off panels and a large electrical
box to assist with simple servicing. It also includes a boil-out drain pan and PVC connection for reduced
water buildup. It comes factory pre-charged with R-448A with one electrical wiring point – plugs
available on select models. The outdoor package options feature an outdoor hood and hail guard
addition for protection from harmful natural weather elements.

HTPG is an industry leader in commercial refrigeration and offers a complete line of products for numerous
applications. The new EcoNet Enabled Packaged Refrigeration Unit will be a transformative addition to
the product line.
