An independent panel of contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 80 entries. HTPG’s Quantum Air™ Remote Air Cooled Condensers won the Gold Award in the Refrigeration & Ice Machines category. Winning entries in the Dealer Design Awards were featured in the July 24, 2017 issue of The ACHR News, which is the leading trade magazine in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industries. The design process took two years from conception to initial manufacturing and involvedour “voice of the customer” method to identify key features and enhancementsmost requested by our customers and their service technicians. “Our team reallyknocked it out-of-the-park with several industry-first features, such as thepatented floating coil design that eliminates potential damage from operationalvibrations, innovative hinged leg design for quicker installation, and built-inLED lighting in the large electrical control panel,” said Westbrook.

Quantum Air Remote Air Cooled Condensers are specifically designed for energyefficiency, performance, ease of installation and serviceability forsupermarket, industrial cooling and commercial warehousing applications. Singleand double fan width models are available with 1 to 14 fans in either verticalor horizontal air flow configurations. Many of the Quantum Air condenserscomply with California Title 24 regulations. Additional key features includehinged fan panels for easy access for coil cleaning and fan or motor service,stud-mounted motors on rigid rails for increased stability and ease of service,heavy duty lifting eyes for quicker installation, and swept wing fan blades thatnot only increase airflow efficiency but generate less noise.
